Re: Hiragana
I'm still working on it
I've learned them all before sort of, but they didn't quite stick
so I'm trying something new to remember them all. I'm basically just writing them all over and over and over again til they're burned in my memory @_@

Re: Hiragana
Yeah same! So many of them feel sooo similar to me...just backwards or with an extra stroke or something. Or an extra loop.
I despair over when I will ever graduate to katakana....! T^T

Re: Hiragana
Well...i know them all. xD Takes pratice, but you will get it eventually and it will become second nature to you.
But, not going to lie. Even now i still forget some katakana. For some reason katakana doesnt stick.lol

Re: Hiragana
some of the katakana are a bit different, but many of them just seem to be a sharper, straighter version of the hiragana.
anyway, writing over and over seems to be working. the hiragana for mu escaped me earlier, but I remembered it without looking at any sort of reference material ^-^

They are sharper, but in some ways a lot of them look very similar to each other.
Re: Hiragana
Hiragana is definitely super cute, very round and curved.
So has anyone graduated to Kanji? haha >_>

Re: Hiragana
lol it's just takes some time. I am not even close to being able to write or read all the kanji.
You just have to start with easy ones, and ones that are commonly used. Words too. Soon you will be able to recognize them, if you dont remember how to write them.

Stock orders. Because in the end, it will come down naturally. I mean with some kanji i might not go exactly in order, but for the most part i do. For some reason they can tell if you do it another way somehow. o_O
Re: Hiragana
Yeah, I've heard that too. My kanji is terrible. They always look like they're trying to do the splits or some other crazy type of gymnastics. Grr ~_~

I think I've finally got all my hiragana committed to memory, and I'm getting better at katakana
