I've played all of them, and am currently playing through MGS4 for the third time. Now that I have my own PS3, was also considering jumping online as well. Until Metal Gear Rising is in my possession anyway. I may just post up on my couch and live off of ramen noodles (to be like Big Boss in MGS3 lol ) when I get my hands on that game.

I have MGS4, but not played it yet. I'm one of the few who is a huge fan of MGS2, I've finished that one about 80 times. My friends have been sitting around me while I'm playing it and tell me to shut up cause I talk along with the characters XD
Re: Metal Gear/Metal Gear Solid
LOLz You too with quoting? I'm less fortunate, since I don't allow most people to actually watch me enjoy me vices. For some reason though, MGS 2 wasn't very much to my liking. At the time I was (and am) a very big fan of Solid Snake. When Kojima decided to make the player GO THROUGH THE ENTIRE GAME AS RAIDEN....I was not impressed. However, this may be redeemed through Metal Gear Rising. Which I will probably never stop playing. Evar.

Re: Metal Gear/Metal Gear Solid
Yeah, I'm awful for doing quoting lol. I really like Solid Snake myself, when you got to the plant and began playing as Raiden I wasn't to please at first, but he grew on me. Moment I heard the line "Shot him! what are you waiting for?" I knew Snake was there even if I wasn't gonna play as him. Most fans I find now are more into naked Snake/Big Boss.
Re: Metal Gear/Metal Gear Solid
Big Boss is a badass no doubt. Like Fox Hound or Dead Cell, they had a good idea in Snake Eater. They carried a particular emotion into battle, which I thought was pretty friggin shweet.
For the moment, it's all about MGS4 for me. As we've already talked about. I like gadgets and technology, and this game has a lot of that. I'm so amused that I actually use the "ipod" on the game to listen to old MG music. You'll get to that when you play it though. To each their own right?

Orochigirl was saying that as she plays MGS2, she quotes the game in real time along with it. As I do for any number of games as well.

Metal Gear is awesome. I have beat #1 two or three times, #2 twice, working on #3 still, haven't started #4.
I can quote a few lines from the series. and in all honesty, Sniper Wolf was awesome. hot sniper girl with a sexy accent? I was in heaven ^_^

Re: Metal Gear/Metal Gear Solid
I'm still working on 3, but I'll get there.
It was funny how I got into the games. My brother had MGS1 on PS1, but would never let me borrow it. I used to wait for him to go out to work then go to his room and "borrow" it. I always put it back where I found it and he never found out XD

indeed. I found myself loving stealth games that much more after playing MGS. good stealth games are hard to come by though.

"Metal Gear!? It can't be!" lol
Wow, you must be really great at the games to have done that, well done! I managed to get all dog tags in MGS2, best I've done so far.
