So anyone going to go watch this one??
I kind of want to ...
I liked comic books when I used to take em from my friends and read them...
didn't buy them...
but Thor is pretty strong for a suppose pretty boy...
the movie's makin him look more like a viking...
atleast to me....
imma still go see this one....

I dont think this Movie will diapoint but dont raise youre hopes so high that nothing can live up to them. I did see a flaw, Odin sed "you have brought the horors of war" Azgar loved war, War wuz the favorit pass time. You cant die in azgar so u dont worry about death and u get there by dieing in battle. anyway I think will be good if not great movie and it brings us one step closer to the Avengers movie.

The movie came out this past weekend and i haven't heard anything about it really. I want to see it though. Can't wait for the Avengers movie and the Captain America movie.

Firstly, I'm not trying to insult you. I just have an interest in theology, and also happened to like the movie. Thor is a Norse deity. Just as he's depicted in the comics, he was likewise believed to act (generally speaking), in Viking beliefs. If you haven't already, you can read a little bit about him here.

On topic though, I really enjoyed this movie. I'm not an expert when it comes to the comics by any means, but the setup for the upcoming Avengers movie was good. The development of the characters was enjoyable, and per usual. The CG had me from the get go. In the end, I only have good things to say about the movie. Hopefully everyone else that watched it enjoyed it as well!

Yes Boss Lady. Valkyries are also a part of Norse Mythology. While I'm not as well informed as I would like to be, the easiest way to relate them in conversation. Would be like this: "Valkyries" are to the Vikings, as "Angels" are to Christians. This link describes it all in a bit more detail, and offers multiple examples of names, written works from Viking culture regarding them, and will ultimately give you a better idea than my simple words.
