First topic message reminder :
Don't own the game, but a friend has it on PS3. I like it, even if it is lacking in gameplay modes (particularly in the Offline Mode).
I use Zero (been a favorite since Tatsunoko vs. Capcom), Morrigan, Crimson Viper, Taskmaster, Amaterasu, Arthur, and Deadpool. I'm also trying to get Dormammu down.

Well, I never said that it was completely balanced. But it's much much more balanced than MvC2.Aesthetic Eve wrote:On the note of characters, I agree with there being some poor choices. Also, I believe Strider Hiryu wasn't put in the game due to copyright issues (Capcom actually doesn't completely own him; his games were a joint effort with another company).

That happened to me for the first time about a week ago! It was shaping up to be the best match I'd had to date, and 10 seconds into the match it was over. Bastards.

I've been using Shuma-Gorath a lot lately. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I kinda like him...

That's usually how it goes. People overlook the more unknown characters in favor of more popular ones, but those are usually the ones that have some good aces up their sleeves.
But Dante is just cheap. My friend has learned some deadly combos with him through Dante's Mission mode, and once he starts the combo on me, I can't do anything to get out of it. I kinda wish MvC3 had Tatsunoko vs. Capcom's combo breaking technique.

I realize that this thread may be a bit out of date. I am utterly addicted to this game and have been so for some time now. Albeit UMvC3. And yes, I am a HARDCORE STRIDER FAN. As much time as I spend on any given character to learn their combos/moves, I spend nearly as much time maintaining Strider. If anyone has this for xbox live and would like to go a few rounds, let me know.
