The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
First topic message reminder :
Synopsis: This story is through the eyes of the narrator and character Kyon, who meets a girl named Haruhi. Haruhi Suzumiya isn't interested in normal people. She wants to meet aliens, time travelers, espers, and sliders. Life is just more interesting that way. So she creates a club to try and find all these things with her classmates, Kyon, Yuki Nagato, Mikuru Asahina, and Itsuki Koizumi. Little does she know they're all these things. Nagato is an alien, Asahina is a time traveler, and Koizumi is an esper, with Kyon being the only normal one. Even though they're exactly what Haruhi is looking for, they decide not to tell her. Why? Because Haruhi is god. But she doesn't know that either. Whether this group is what they are because they were born that way or because Haruhi wished for it is unclear. The trouble is that if Haruhi knew these things existed, then she would throw away all logic she has as a "normal" girl and create who knows what in a world more to her liking! Haruhi has the ability to destroy the world and remake it as a world that fits her interests better, but again she doesn't know this. So their club, the SOS Brigade, which is composed of aliens, time travelers, and espers, must work hard to keep Haruhi entertained without realizing what's going on. Whether Haruhi is barking orders at her classmates to do strange and ridiculous tasks, dressing up like maids and bunny girls, or solving murders and mysteries for the people around them, The SOS Brigade can't let their leader down. Otherwise, the melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya could mean the end of the world as we know it.

oh. well that's not a good sign. Lucky Star is like the sister series of Haruhi Suzumiya. which is why I probably love Lucky Star so much too.MoonDoggie wrote:Guardian Dragon wrote:eh? what do you mean how you were with lucky star?

I dunno if it's that their faces are actually small, or that their gigantic anime hair makes it look small by comparison.

well tha look of huge eyes is supposed to mean their faces are small
Re: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
I think it would be cool if real people had bigger eyes like that. or if our mouths could look weird and funny sometimes. part of what I like about anime is that the facial features are so expressive. you can tell at a glance what someone is thinking.
