Favorite Anime Openings: Top 20

because you know if you like anime you like the opening music as well. post your favorite openings and share them with us. as for me I made a list of my top 20 favorite ones and will be posting one by one every time I come.

I'll like doing this. There are a lot of openings I like, even if I don't necessarily like the anime.

With a lot of my favorite animes, I hate the OP. Rurouni Kenshin immediately comes to mind. Freckles... bleh.

lol Really? I didn't know my list would be that anticipated. lol

This list doesn't necessarily mean I like the anime shown in some cases. Also I am a fickle person so this list might not be the same say 6 months from now. I'll also try to say why I like the opening in question, but I might not do this for all of them.
Lastly, there might be some newer openings on here, that doesn't mean there could have been a better opening I could have posted, think of it more like since I am watching it now or recently watched it or rewatched it, it's fresh in my mind. I wish I could put more than 20 because there are a bunch of openings I like for different reasons, but alas too many to post or hard to find. =/

Now then, I guess I'll start now. lol

20. (As some know I don't like Bleach. However I was a fan once. Anyways liked this opening the song was cool and the flow of the video gets you hyped up)

19. (I could only find a mirrored version for this one. I like the song alot and good flow throught the opening)

16. (Catchy song)

15. (Super catchy & addicting) @_@

There will be quite a few ties in the top 10 sorry in case you don't agree with ties in a top etc list especially as many as there are in the top 10, but I like/enjoy them that much currently. might have been easier with a top 50, but I thing there would still be some ties. lol

10. (This one kicks your a$s it's so awesome, very worthy of a top ten spot)

9. (Tie! 1st one..Best quality version I could find unfortunately it's mirrored. Love the song. 2nd one love the song)

8. (Tie here *these are classics*)

7. (TIE Same anime, Love the music from the boom boom satellites, great flow on both)
*Original open (PS3)*

*Alternate opening (TV version)*

6. (Song really gets me hyped)

5. (Great song, good flow)

4. (If you know me, I bet you thought this one would be number 1 or number 2. You thought wrong. lol)

3. (Great Song, Great Flow + Oasis *one of my favorite band* number 3 for sure)

2. (Triple TIE! Same anime, different seasons, Love the flow and the songs, could listen to them all day)

1. ALL 5 FMA: BROTHERHOOD OPENINGS! (I love them all and that's hard for a series to do. All of them have amazing flow great songs and I can hear them or watch them all day and not get burned out!)

So there you have it, my top 20. Please comment and discuss I put some effort into this list and I had to remove some openings I wanted to really include like the Ghost in the Shell openings for example. So please comment.

No D.Gray man makes me sad. Innocent Sorrow was such a great song. I'm glad that Air Gear is getting some love though.

you DO kno that there were OTHER ruroken openings . . . v_v why do i feel like those are overshadowed by freckles . . . *dies* x.x
