Re: Dragon Ball/Z/GT
DBZ does bring back memories of Toonami, when it was good it still existed.
I wish I saw more of Dragon Ball, though. I liked it more than DBZ, because it focused more on the adventure, the humor, the characters, and of course, the titular Dragon Balls. But I have to give DBZ credit for helping to make anime popular in America (along with Pokemon and Sailor Moon).
...The less said about GT, the better.

i second that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >_> . . . <_< *whispers* cuz to true DBZ fans . . . its not cannon no way
a lot of ppl say they didnt like DB cuz it was lame but i liked it alot
Re: Dragon Ball/Z/GT
My cousin use to love dbz. I never really got into it. I just knew a little bit about the main characters.
Re: Dragon Ball/Z/GT
I love the comic from beginning to end. It was fun. The fight scenes were creative, and good for my amvs. I know it has haters, but I still won't hide my fanatasicsm. I've only seen a little bit of GT, but it seemed like a decent-ish continuation of dbz. I don't know why people say it's horrible. What happens that upset so many people?

Re: Dragon Ball/Z/GT
well technically akira toriyama quit being consulted on DBZ after tha Cell Saga and so they stopped following tha manga and tha anime went its own way . . . they tried to get him to come back for GT but he didnt like what they had planned for tha "Z fighters" but they did it anyhow and thas why tha half end of DBZ and GT are not considered cannon to most hard care Toriyama fans . . . but i didnt think tha end of DBZ was too bad but GT was rediculous . . . its villians looked like each other bc they were so recycled and their strength had to become more and more outrageous . . . wash rinse repeat . . . gets old after a while . . . and lets not forget that it always took 20 years for a fight scene to be set up or for there to be progression in tha plot lolz . . . god im glad thas over in some ways
Re: Dragon Ball/Z/GT

Actually, the Buu arc was in the manga, and it was written by Toriyama. I have the Buu arc manga as proof.
