The Guardian Dragon has arrived!!! (aka Bill)
Konnichiwa minna! Bill, the AF's Average Ordinary everyday Superhero is here. A big thanks to delete for pointing me to the party.
I don't want this place to die out like the AF, so everybody post a lot =D

hi MD. I like the new hangout. glad to see a lot of AFers are here. I was very disappointed when they all started to leave.

big plans sounds good to me.
hehe, sorry about any confusion. yeah, callin me dragon is just fine. I like to switch up the names I go by every once in a while. I have several nicknames I've earned over the years. Sometimes I go by Guardian Dragon, sometimes by Hawk-Eye, sometimes Phantom Man, and many others.

video games. I earned the name Hawk-Eye for my skill with just about all kinds of guns, especially sniper rifles. I almost never miss. one time Bob ran out of ammo while in the middle of enemy territory so I gave him sniper cover and shot down everybody in his way as he made it back to base while I was very far away. must have been weird for him. just watching everybody drop like flies right in front of him, about 1.5-2 seconds in between each kill.MoonDoggie wrote:Guardian Dragon wrote:big plans sounds good to me.

even with guns that aren't meant for accuracy, I'm not too bad. I once got a rating of 87.2% accuraccy with a machine gun at long range in a shooter for the N64.
I feel like I'm more proud of this skill than I should be <_<

Re: The Guardian Dragon has arrived!!! (aka Bill)
surprised at what exactly?
I actually find it a bit funny, considering I wear glasses for being near-sighted. I'm a sniper who has trouble seeing things far away. XD
I often wonder how good I could be if I had perfect vision. my vision isn't bad...but it could be better.

Re: The Guardian Dragon has arrived!!! (aka Bill)
I take a lot of pride in my shooting. even with a weapon as simple to use as a gun, a lack of skill is not acceptable to me. plus it means I make absolutely sure to kill only enemies, and never accidentally fire on my allies.
you're on my safe list MD

Re: The Guardian Dragon has arrived!!! (aka Bill)
my dad is a hunter and he has taken me to a gun safety course before, which I passed easily. however I've never gone with him or any other family on a hunting trip. I'm not a vegetarian or anything, I eat what he shoots, and I love a good hamburger or steak every now and then. but the thought of me taking an innocent life doesn't sit well with me even if it is just a wild animal.
I was able to make a few bullseyes when we did archery in high school PE though, so my skill with long range weaponry isn't completely fictitious ^_^

Re: The Guardian Dragon has arrived!!! (aka Bill)
so you have a thing for guns too? cool.
it's too bad there's no real use in civilian life for being a good shot. even if my life were in some sort of danger, there's those pesky license to carry laws.
