Gaijin Chronicles / I am a Japanese School Teacher
First topic message reminder :
The blog formerly known as "Gaijin Smash", this is the story of a Black guy who goes to teach English in Japan through the JET program, gets into all kinds of shenanigans with the kids, stays in the country, and eventually marries there. It's a very interesting read.

The only thing stopping me from being a teacher is that I'm not good at teaching. lol

Haha. I'm sure they give you lesson plans. If it's little kids, I'm sure it's not hard. Just play games while teaching them and stuff.

My friend went to China while on an abroad program to learn more Chinese and she got a part-time job teaching English. She said she just had to speak English and make learning fun. They had lessons plans for them, so it was fun.
